Educating Teachers: Linking theory and practise

By actively participating in school laboratory work, prospective teachers will be able to apply, intensify and contextualize their subject and subject-didactical knowledge in specific situations. This takes place in the context of the “Student Laboratories as Teaching-Learning Labs” project. The aim of the project is to intensify the practical relevance of prospective teachers in the MINT subjects. Six university laboratories are currently being extended to accommodate student specific teaching – learning labs and will consequently be a valuable contribution to the university MINT teacher education program.
