International Physics Olympiad (IPhO): Head of German Physics Olympiad and delegation leader at the IPhO. Member oft he IPhO advisory board (since 2008). Secretary oft he World Federation of Physics Competitions (since 2012)
European Union Science (EUSO): Preparation of German team and leader at the international competition. Vice-President of the EUSO (since 2012)
KeiLa - competence development in math and science teacher training courses

Research Interests

Development of professional knowledge of prospective teachers
Promotion of underrepresented groups in competitions
Analysis of competition tasks
