IPN Doctoral Candidate receives Prize for her Poster

14. September 2016

In the context of the DFG- special research field (SFB) “Function by Switching”, the chemistry education team is analyzing how science is perceived and how the authentic perception of science can be promoted.

The SFB is in the Klick laboratory of the Kiel Research Workshop which is embedded in the student laboratory that is jointly run by the IPN and Kiel University. Specially produced videos are to be integrated in the experimentation stations of the student laboratories to give advanced secondary school students an insight into SFB research in the coming future. Insa Stamer, an IPN doctoral candidate, presented initial results of the project at this year’s Chemistry and Physics Conference in Zurich in the form of a scientific poster. The conference jury selected her for with the 2016 poster prize from 104 candidates.
