“Teacher Education Panel – Implication for Research and Practice”, conference in Berlin, May 12th, 2017

On May 12th, 2017, the Permanent Representation of Schleswig-Holstein in Berlin hosts a conference of the Teacher Education Panel (PaLea). The registration is still open.

The PaLea study is a panel which examines student-teacher’s development throughout phases one and two of their education. The Panel is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

PaLea recurrently interviewed student teachers from all over Germany about their studies, from the beginning to teaching practice, while at the same time documenting the teacher education program of their respective Universities.

The conference will present and discuss a selection of the study’s results, as well as first conclusions about the transition between the first phase and the second phase of the teacher education program.

The event is geared towards researchers, representatives from schools, federal organizations, school supervisory institutions, and the federal states’ ministries of education.
