This research area examines questions about the further development and evaluation of the quality of in-school and out-of-school learning opportunities for different target groups. It aims to identify the predictors and effects of successful learning at informal learning locations in the area of science and technology. Furthermore, this research area investigates the way in which museum exhibitions can be designed in such a way that promotes learning.
