The IPN supports the March for Science 2018

April 4th, 2018

On Saturday, April 14th, 2018, thousands of people will take to the streets of Washington D.C. and more than 600 other cities worldwide to demonstrate that science as the basis of social discourse is non-negotiable. Not only scientists, but anyone not indifferent to the clear distinction between proven knowledge and personal opinion is invited to participate in this worldwide demonstration of the value of research and science.

Kiel University is hosting an event on the eve of Friday, April 13th, 2018, at 8:30 p.m.: Under the motto "Science, not Silence", researchers, teachers, students, and citizens will set an example for scientific progress, which forms the basis of society’s prosperity and its future.

The IPN joins Kiel University's call to attend the event. Through their participation, citizens, students and scientists can show that scientific facts are important to them.
