The goal of this summit is to bring different perspectives on coherence in science teacher education from the Nordic
and Baltic countries together and to discuss ways to support pre-service science teachers in a coherent science teacher education.

The summit is funded by the European Union Erasmus+ Program.

Target group:
Science teacher educators, especially from the Nordic and Baltic countries

Participation takes place by invitation.

This conference of the Bremen Initiative to Foster Early Childhood Development (BRISE) provides a forum for the interdisciplinary exchange of current research findings on the development of children’s cognitive, social, and emotional abilities. Its special focus will be on children from disadvantaged families.

The conference is free of charge.

Who Should Attend?
Academics of all career stages interested in the study of early childhood development and preschool education.

"Rent-a-Scientist – Science is School"

Theme:
Under the motto "Science is School" IPN scientists present their field of research in schools in the Kiel region in an understandable and entertaining way as an interesting teaching unit. Their choice of topics is very diverse: How does X-ray radiation affect the human body, what mathematical skills are used in 3D printing, and to what extent can artificial intelligence promote writing?

The Festival of Science in the Kiel Region is part of the European Researchers' Night of the European Union.

Target group:
All interested teachers from schools in Kiel, Rendsburg-Eckernförde and Plön can apply for a Rent-a-Scientist school lesson.

The IPN, the Kiel University, the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Culture and the Institute for Quality Development in Schools Schleswig-Holstein are hosting this year's Summer University for teachers.

Theme:
For the 15th time, the SH Summer University in Sankelmark will once again see a fruitful exchange between practice and science. The theme of this year's Summer University is 'School of the Future'.

School administrators and teachers of all types of schools in Schleswig-Holstein

The PAEPS 2023 of the German Society of Psychology (DGPs) is jointly hosted by the Institute for Educational Psychology Teaching and Learning Research (IPL) at the CAU and the IPN.

Theme:
The motto of this year's specialist group conference is "Teaching and learning in a changing world - contributions from educational psychology". Prof. Pierre Dillenbourg (CH), Prof. Gale Sinatra (USA), Prof. Manu Kapur (CH) and Prof. Patricia Jennings (USA) could be won as keynotes.

On September 16th-17th, 2023, a junior researcher conference for (post)-doctoral students will be offered in advance of the main conference.
