Every year on the third Friday in November, the nationwide Reading Aloud Day is a public signal for the importance of reading aloud. Nine IPN staff members participate in this day of action. They visit elementary school classes and read to children from STEM-related books.

We support this initiative because studies show that children who are regularly read to have particularly good starting chances.
They have a larger vocabulary at an early age, learn to read more easily and have better grades in many subjects at school.
