Joachim Herz Stiftung grants two fellowships for digital teaching strategies in science education

25. January 2018

The Joachim Herz Stiftung selected Dr. Daniela Mahler and Dr. Till Bruckermann to participate as junior fellows in a program on digital teaching strategies in science education (Kolleg Didaktik:digital).

The program Kolleg Didaktik:digital promotes the exchange between expert and young researchers from science education for developing courses in science teacher education. In the jury-selected project, Dr. Daniela Mahler and Dr. Till Bruckermann will develop a course which integrates empirical research on learning with dynamic representations. The project will be evaluated based on its effects on pre-service teachers' professional knowledge.

In addition to receiving funding for the project, the junior fellows will participate in networking and exchange opportunities. Teaching materials and results of the project will be disseminated in cooperation with the Joachim Herz Stiftung.
