Setting an example: the IPN at the March for Science in New York

April 16th, 2018

Dr. Nele Kampa (right), research scientist in the Department of Educational Research at the IPN, represented the Institute at the March for Science in New York. She used her visit to the annual conference of the American Education Research Association (AERA) to demonstrate that scientific findings are not negotiable as the basis of social discourse.

The March for Science took place on Saturday, April 14, 2018, in Washington D.C. and in more than 600 other cities worldwide. Those who are not indifferent to the clear distinction between assured knowledge and personal opinion were invited to participate in this worldwide demonstration of the value of research and science.
